Episode 21: Up Is The Way Down
Before they go down the secret passage in the Moon pyramid, Tao fetches Ambrosius's lamps from the Condor. They'll get to light and find their way into endless stairwayss, where they finally find a way down to a door with moon phases and Mu writing on it: “Up is the way down”. Zia ends up solving the riddle and presses the moon symbols backwards in time. They can then keep going.
Meanwhile, the ship also flies to Akkad's ziggurat. On board, Gaspard tries to impress Laguerra and plots his revenge on Mendoza. They end up landing next to the Golden Condor; Gaspard is tasked with keeping the ship while Zares and Laguerra head to the pyramid.
In the desert, Malik offers Mendoza to join their caravan to Akkad. As for Sancho and Pedro, still aboard the Esperanza, they dream of opening their tavern in Barcelona. But they have to face the facts: they miss Mendoza and the children, and they paddle back to Hormuz.
In the pyramid, the children find a great room with a golden chest bearing the name of the last princess of Mu, Rana'Ori. Sadly, the chest is empty: a message tells them the veils have been taken into the desert by the Chaldis.
