Knowing now the location of Tseila, the first of the seven cities of gold,
Esteban wants to recover the central part of his medallion, owned by Mendoza since the day he saved him in the ocean.
Concerned for the safety of the children, Kraka sends Wayna and Ketcha for this delicate mission.
Suddenly, a villager announces the arrival of the "thunder dragon": the cannon of the Spaniards.
Several villagers support the idea of a fight for the defense of High Peak, but Kraka would rather take refuge in the walls of Tseila and thus avoid a war, which would be anyway to the disadvantage of the Incas.
Esteban wants to take back his medallion himself and he thinks that Mendoza will never accept to return something so precious to someone else.
Followed closely by Zia and Tao, the boy flees to the Fort of the Black Eagle.
For their part, Mendoza, Sancho and Pedro are thinking of stealing the cannon of the Spanish soldiers in order to haggle their entry into the fort.
While denouncing an Inca ambush,
Mendoza manages to steal the cannon of the soldiers.
Chased by Gomez and Gaspard, who soon realize the trick, they meet Wayna and Ketcha on their way and ask for their help,
claiming they stole the weapon for them.
Arrived at the Fort of the Black Eagle, Mendoza, Sancho and Pedro are taken prisoner by Upanki because Wayna claims to have seen Mendoza denounce the Incas to the Spaniards.
The situation is critical for the three Spaniards who risk to be kill by a firing squad.
Fortunately, Esteban arrives at the last second to save the lives of the three men.
Esteban says that it is to give him back the second half of his pendant that Mendoza came to the Fort of the Black Eagle.
The sailor is forced
to join the two pieces of the medallion
: the keys of the Cities of Gold are now perfectly reunited!
