Presentation : Perez appears in the series during episodes 2, 3 and 4. He is not a good captain, and is not respected by the other sailors of Esperanza, especially by Mendoza. He will be found several times in comic situations during the crossing of Atlantic ocean. Ignoring the presence of Esteban and Zia aboard the galleon, he will never discover have been fooled by Gomez.
